- It is advisable not to put your CV on job boards as this can be seen by colleagues and your employer, which will place you in a difficult situation. You will also get swamped with phone calls and emails from agencies which can be quite overwhelming and disruptive to your working day

- Searching for a new career can be a time consuming task and you may not find what you are looking for. It is therefore advisable not to hand your notice in until you have received an offer in writing
- Be patient! Do not settle for a job just because it is available. Think about what you really want from your career and hold out for the perfect opportunity
