A Major Account Manager/Field Sales professional is required for a renowned digital media company to be based from home due to continued success. You will be responsible for Account Managing large, national accounts around the Derby area on a field sales basis, as well as generating new business (20-30%). You will form close, strong relationships with your clients and typically visit them every 3-4 weeks.

To be considered for the Major Account Manager/Business Development/Field Sales Role position: • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Major Account Manager/Business Development Manager/Media Sales/Field Sales professional • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the credibility and gravitas to be able to deal with high level clients • Your experience must have been gained within the online media, digital media or online directory industry such as Yell, Thomson Directories, Touch Local etc or publishing/media industry as a media sales or advertising sales executive or having worked for a large, national prestigious company where you have been dealing with major accounts. • Field Sales experience or strong client facing skills with the self motivation to work from home • A stable career • Consultative sales approach • Excellent relationship building skills • Ability to cross sell and up-sell • Ability to analyse data and interpret to spot business opportunities • Strong team player with good work ethics • Open and honest • Full Driving Licence
Package for the Account Manager/Business Development/Field Sales Role position: • £35k basic • Uncapped commission • Company Car • Fuel Card • Laptop • Mobile Phone • Hours: 9-5.30 Monday to Friday • Holidays: 23 days rising 1 day for each year completed (maximum 27 days) • Pension • Life Assurance • Bupa

You will be covering the following areas: Derby, East Midlands, Nottingham, Stoke on Trent and Leicester but some national/over night travel will be needed on occasion as you will be winning contracts on behalf of the whole company.
