Job Description |

An Account Manager/Business Development Manager is required for a renowned digital media company to be based from home. You will be responsible for Account Managing 35-40 small to large, national accounts around Milton Keynes, Leicester, Northampton and Coventry on a field sales basis, as well as generating new business. Joining an existing team you will be responsible for developing close relationships with your clients, spotting business opportunities and up-selling and cross selling where applicable.
You will have the support of a telesales team who will book and validate appointments on your behalf.

To be considered for the Account Manager/Business Development Role position:
• A minimum of 2 years experience as an Account Manager/Business Development Manager
• You must be comfortable generating new business as they are looking more for a hunter than a farmer
• Your experience must have been gained within the online, digital media or online directory industry such as Yell, Thomson Directories, Touch Local etc.
• Field Sales experience
• A stable career
• Consultative sales approach
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to cross sell and up-sell
• Ability to analyse data and interpret to spot business opportunities
• Strong team player with good work ethics
• Open and honest
• Full Driving Licence
