A Head of Marketing role has now arisen for an energetic, fast moving and innovative digital media company who are a market leader in their field.
As Head of Marketing you will play a pivotal role in helping the online media company to achieve both short and long-term business goals through trade (predominately) and consumer marketing activity. They communicate across all forms of print, on-line and broadcast media. You will manage a team of 3 people (2 marketing assistants and 1 PR executive).
To be considered for the Head of Marketing role:
• Educated to degree level - but approach and relevant experience will be of greater importance
• Considerable experience in various marketing roles, dealing with at least one high profile brand (ideally with a significant online presence) and experience of managing direct reports
• Experience of handling multi-channel marketing activity to both trade and consumers will be a key requirement
• Evidence of successful project management skills, with a particularly keen attention to detail
• Knowledge and exposure to digital media channels will be vital, with experience of dealing with social media an advantage
• Evidence of the creation of marketing campaigns for both products and brands is desirable
• Digital/Online industry experience isn’t essential but you should have gained your marketing experience in an up-to-date sector such as publishing, FMCG, property, retail etc.
Package for the Head of Marketing:
• c£80k basic
• Hours: 9-5.30 Monday to Friday
• Holidays: 23 days rising 1 day for each year completed (maximum 27 days)
